Supply Teacher Needed in Whitstable

About the role

Hays Education is partnering with primary schools across Whitstable to find enthusiastic Supply Teachers for Key Stages 1 and 2. You will step into classrooms on a day‑to‑day or short‑term basis, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils continue to make progress while their regular teacher is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for Year 1 and Year 2 classes.
• Maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
• Support pupil progress and provide feedback to the regular teacher.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils and staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
• Experience teaching in a primary education setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to each assignment.
