Support Worker – Dual Diagnosis Service

About the role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join its Dual Diagnosis service in Blackpool. You will provide recovery‑focused assistance to individuals with mental health challenges, substance misuse, complex needs, and offending histories, helping them achieve greater wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Prompt and oversee medication administration.
• Assist with domestic living tasks and personal care.
• Maintain accurate records and write support plans for service users.
• Facilitate access to health, financial and emotional support services.
• Work flexibly across day, evening, weekend and bank‑holiday shifts, including lone and sleep‑in assignments.

Required profile

• Positive, empathetic attitude with strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and collaborate within a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to service needs.
• Desirable experience in community‑based support services.
• Preferred ability to drive.
