Support Worker – Full‑Time Care Role in Edinburgh & Midlothian

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our expanding care teams across Edinburgh and Midlothian. In this permanent, full‑time position you will deliver personalised social‑care support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled visits to clients, providing personal care, companionship and assistance with daily activities.
• Adapt visit length (30 minutes to over an hour) based on individual needs.
• Follow flexible shift patterns (8, 10 or 12‑hour shifts) between 07:00 and 22:00.
• Travel to assigned postcodes (EH3, EH4, EH5, EH10, EH16, EH17 and Midlothian) using own vehicle or public transport as required.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate any changes in client condition to the care team.

Required profile

• Professional experience in social care (mandatory).
• Permanent, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and locations.
• Valid UK driving licence and car for driver‑eligible areas, or residence within walking zones.
