Support Worker – Learning Disabilities (Lee-on-the-Solent)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a charitable organisation in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. You will help individuals with learning disabilities live more independently while developing your own career in health and social care.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and personal care.
- Provide travel escorts and support for community outings.
- Teach independent life skills and promote self‑reliance.
- Facilitate participation in social and leisure activities.
- Work flexibly across a mixture of shifts, with no night or sleep‑in requirements.
Required profile
- A friendly, caring approach with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
- Professional, reliable and flexible attitude.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Patience and a sense of humour.
