Supporter Liaison Officer

About the role

The Supporter Liaison Officer will work within the Service Support team to foster positive relationships between Manchester City and its supporters. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Manchester and involves coordinating fan engagement across men’s and women’s football fixtures, both home and away.

Key responsibilities

• Support supporter engagement and liaison activities across all football operations.
• Coordinate communication and consultation with supporter groups, fan representatives and wider fan communities.
• Assist Fan Engagement, Ticketing Operations, Safety & Security, and Matchday teams in delivering seamless supporter experiences on matchdays and events.
• Gather and relay supporter feedback, manage operational issues, and ensure aligned communication among operational stakeholders.
• Contribute to fan insight initiatives and continuous improvement of supporter experience and operational delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supporter engagement, stakeholder coordination or operational support environments.
• Strong, clear communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Professional and sensitive handling of supporter interactions.
• Understanding of fan engagement dynamics within football.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑moving operational setting.
• Collaborative mindset across service and operational teams.
• Flexibility to work varied days, including matchday requirements.
