Sustainability Consultant – BREEAM & Building Physics Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for a Sustainability Consultant specialising in BREEAM and building physics. The role involves delivering high‑performance, low‑carbon building designs across new builds, refurbishments and energy upgrades in London.

Key responsibilities

• Run energy, thermal and daylight performance simulations to assess design concepts.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers and design teams to optimise building performance.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Review project documentation to ensure compliance with BREEAM and other sustainability standards.
• Gather evidence and support documentation for BREEAM assessments.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent experience in building physics, environmental engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience at an intermediate or senior level in building performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of BREEAM methodology and sustainability regulations.
