Sustainability Consultant – BREEAM Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant with a strong BREEAM focus to join our growing building services consultancy in Luton. You will lead BREEAM assessments across multiple sectors while expanding your expertise into energy modelling, life‑cycle assessment and other sustainability services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BREEAM assessments from feasibility through certification.
• Interpret BREEAM criteria and advise design teams.
• Coordinate and review evidence submissions and manage BRE certification process.
• Lead client and design‑team workshops.
• Support integration of broader sustainability strategies, including energy modelling, LCA and embodied carbon analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience delivering BREEAM consultancy.
• Strong understanding of BREEAM processes and whole‑life carbon principles.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently.
• Confident communicator comfortable leading workshops and engaging with clients.
• Interest in developing skills across wider sustainability disciplines.
