Talent Researcher
reflectionai · London
Job description
About the role
Each Talent Researcher owns a deep network and market expertise, focusing primarily on building a new practice for the complex sovereign commercial domain and secondarily on areas such as AI/ML research, marketing, legal, security, or talent. You will drive top‑of‑funnel strategy for the hardest‑to‑fill AI positions, mapping the global talent landscape, creating targeted pipelines, and partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to turn leads into hires.
Key responsibilities
- Own and continuously curate a talent map for your domain, producing market briefs, target lists, and competitive intelligence that guide hiring decisions.
- Drive engagement strategies for sovereign commercial leaders and AI research talent through proactive referrals, event curation, and conference attendance.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to refine search criteria, deliver high‑quality leads, and educate them on the talent market for complex roles.
- Build and ship tooling and agent workflows that give the recruiting team leverage, especially for higher‑volume, lower‑complexity positions.
Required profile
- 5+ years of sourcing or talent research experience targeting highly specialized, low‑availability talent pools.
- Deep expertise in at least one domain relevant to Reflection and proven ability to develop depth in a new domain.
- Demonstrated success with sophisticated sourcing strategies for passive talent beyond standard job boards.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, detail‑oriented, metrics‑driven, and comfortable in a high‑velocity startup environment.
- Experience building with the latest AI technologies and evidence of adoption by team members.
What we offer
- Top‑tier compensation: salary and equity structured globally.
- Stock options for all contributors.
- Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life coverage plus an annual wellness allowance.
- Daily lunch and dinner provided in the office.
- 22 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents.
- Unlimited paid time off in the U.S. and 30 days in the U.K.
- Visa sponsorship and long‑term immigration support.
- Regular off‑sites, happy hours, and team celebrations.
