Tax Advisor – Corporate Tax, London

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Advisor to join our global entertainment business’s tax team in London. Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, you will support corporate tax compliance, reporting, and advisory projects across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outsourced preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns in collaboration with external advisors and the finance team.
• Support year‑end group tax reporting under IFRS, prepare UK tax packs, and assist with group tax consolidation.
• Prepare group effective tax rate (ETR) and cash tax forecasts.
• Manage UK GAAP statutory tax disclosures.
• Maintain a global calendar of corporate tax compliance and coordinate with overseas finance and tax teams.
• Assist in creating a group Transfer Pricing policy and compliance plan.
• Lead BEPS Pillar 2 compliance and public country‑by‑country reporting.
• Partner with the business on strategic projects such as refinancing, M&A, and restructurings.
• Support tax controversy strategy, respond to tax authority enquiries, and manage disputes.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including technology‑enabled solutions.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA, or ACCA qualified with Big 4/Top 10 or in‑house corporate tax experience.
• Strong project‑management abilities and stakeholder communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship offered).
