Tax Advisor

About the role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex tax issues into clear, actionable guidance and wants to develop a solid foundation in UK corporate tax. You will join a collaborative team within Aviva, supporting tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Support UK corporate tax compliance, statutory returns and reporting for the Aviva Group.
• Work closely with Tax and Finance colleagues to ensure accurate tax data and timely filings.
• Identify tax risks, propose improvements and contribute to process automation and data‑driven reporting.
• Help protect Aviva’s reputation by ensuring tax obligations are met in line with legislation and Group standards.

Required profile

• Early‑career professional – accountant, part‑qualified tax professional or equivalent experience in industry or practice.
• Strong analytical ability to spot issues and explain tax risks to non‑specialists.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
• Collaborative, professional attitude and confidence working with colleagues both face‑to‑face and online.
