Tax and Accounts Senior

About the role

We are looking for a diligent and experienced Tax and Accounts Senior to lead tax and accounting operations for a medium‑sized professional services firm in Camberley. The role involves delivering high‑quality tax returns, financial statements and advisory services to a diverse client base while ensuring full compliance with legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all tax and accounting activities within the firm.
• Prepare, review and file corporate and personal tax returns.
• Produce accurate financial statements and management accounts.
• Provide tax and accounting advice to clients and resolve complex issues.
• Ensure compliance with current tax laws and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth business operations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation and accounting regulations.
• Participate in business development initiatives to grow the client portfolio.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, ATT or CTA.
• Proven experience in tax and accounting within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Proficiency with accounting software.
