Tax Apprenticeship – Private Client Division

About the role

This apprenticeship is aimed at candidates at the start of their career who want to develop a professional qualification in tax within a supportive law‑firm environment. You will join the Tax and Trusts team in the Private Client Division, working alongside experienced Tax Advisors and a Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Tax Advisors and Senior Tax Advisors with tax advice for individuals, families and charities.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and calculations for income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
• Help with tax reporting and compliance work arising from internal and external requests.
• Contribute to the administration of trusts and related documentation.
• Participate in training sessions as part of the ATT Apprenticeship (Level 4).

Required profile

• Recent graduate or student with a strong interest in tax and law.
• Curious, detail‑oriented and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to commit to the ATT apprenticeship programme.
