Tax Director / Tax Partner – Senior Leadership Role

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established accountancy firm in Central London to recruit a Tax Director or Tax Partner. This senior leader will shape the firm’s tax function, drive business development and influence strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax advisory and compliance services for a diverse client portfolio.
• Manage and develop relationships with corporate and private clients, delivering complex advisory work.
• Drive business development and support the growth of the tax offering.
• Contribute to strategic decision‑making as a member of the senior leadership team.
• Lead, mentor and develop members of the tax team.
• Ensure high‑quality delivery of both compliance and advisory services.

Required profile

• Significant experience at Tax Director level or higher within a practice environment, or readiness for a Partner appointment.
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of tax advisory and compliance matters.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Leadership experience focused on developing high‑performing teams.
• CTA qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
