Tax Manager – Banking & Capital Markets – FinTech

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a leading Banking & Capital Markets tax team within a top‑tier accountancy firm. The role combines technical tax expertise with commercial advisory, supporting a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients in banking, capital markets, asset finance, brokerage, proprietary trading and FinTech.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex UK and international tax matters.
• Support transactions, corporate reorganisations, due diligence and tax accounting.
• Assist clients in navigating regulatory changes.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Manage client relationships and drive innovative tax delivery approaches.

Required profile

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Post‑qualified corporate tax experience.
• Experience advising banking, capital markets or financial services clients; FinTech exposure is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial mindset.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
