Tax Manager – Corporate Advisory

About the role

Our client, a Top‑60 advisory‑led accountancy firm with over 200 professionals across Audit, Accounts, Tax and Advisory, is expanding its Manchester office. They are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead a portfolio of corporate clients and contribute to complex tax planning and advisory projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on UK and international corporate tax matters.
• Support advisory work including restructures, management buy‑outs, employee ownership trusts and other transactions.
• Provide guidance on business structuring and profit extraction strategies.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns and related reporting.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on complex projects.
• Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or part‑qualified).
• Strong corporate tax experience gained in practice.
• Exposure to advisory work such as restructurings, transactions and tax planning.
• Good knowledge of UK corporate tax (personal tax exposure a plus).
• Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
