Teacher for SEND (ASD/SEMH)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join our rural campus in South East England. You will work with children and young people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Asperger’s and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to learn, develop confidence and achieve personal milestones.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet each learner’s individual needs.
- Collaborate daily with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.
- Monitor progress, adjust strategies and celebrate “huge small victories” with students.
- Maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.
- Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions and Ofsted preparation.
Required profile
- Resilient and compassionate with a genuine passion for SEND education.
- Ability to build strong relationships with young people, families and multidisciplinary staff.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and SEMH challenges.
- Experience creating and implementing individualized learning plans.
- Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
