About the role
We are seeking a resilient Teaching Assistant to provide one‑to‑one behaviour support for two primary‑school pupils in WA4 Warrington. The role focuses on building positive relationships, encouraging engagement, and helping the pupils access the classroom curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Support two pupils on a one‑to‑one basis throughout the school day.
- Manage challenging behaviour using positive, evidence‑based strategies.
- Encourage participation through practical, personalised activities.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
- Promote emotional regulation and social development.
Required profile
- Male candidate preferred to serve as an appropriate role model for the pupils.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with children displaying challenging behaviour.
- Experience or interest in behaviour support, youth work, coaching, residential care or SEN.
