Teaching Assistant – Flexible Daily Supply (Haringey Primary Schools)

About the role

This position offers flexible, daily‑supply teaching assistant work across primary schools in Haringey. You will support pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 settings, stepping into classrooms as required until the end of the academic year. The role is ideal for candidates who want varied experience in a range of school environments while maintaining a part‑time, day‑by‑day schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Support teachers during lessons and help deliver the curriculum.
• Work with small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Provide one‑to‑one assistance for pupils who need additional help.
• Support pupils with SEND, adapting activities as necessary.
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and age groups.

Required profile

• Proactive, reliable and confident when supporting pupils with diverse needs.
• Enthusiastic about working in primary education.
• Willingness to hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or apply for one.
• Flexibility to move between schools on a daily basis.
