Teaching Assistant & MDSA (Part‑time) – Alderbury Primary School

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, part‑time Teaching Assistant who will also take on Meal Distribution Support Assistant (MDSA) duties at Alderbury and West Grimstead CofE Primary School. The role supports early learners during classroom time and ensures children are safe and happy during lunch and play periods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery for the youngest pupils.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to develop confidence and curiosity.
• Supervise children during lunchtime and playtime, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding and health‑and‑safety procedures.
