About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join schools across Southampton. You will work full‑time during term‑time, supporting pupils in primary, nursery and SEN settings. This role offers a practical pathway into education with immediate start dates.
Key responsibilities
- Work five days a week, term‑time only, in classroom environments.
- Support pupils with a range of SEND needs, adapting activities as required.
- Assist teachers across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Passionate about education with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Positive role model for young people.
- Innovative, adaptable and able to engage learners.
Required skills
- Effective communication with children and staff.
- Basic understanding of SEND requirements.
What we offer
- Day‑rate between £95.29 and £105.29.
- Full‑time, term‑time placements across primary, nursery and SEN schools.
- Immediate start and flexible short‑term or long‑term assignments.
- £150 referral bonus for successful recommendations.
