Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Full‑time, £90‑£100/day)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Brentwood from September. This full‑time, long‑term position offers the chance to support young learners in a nurturing environment with strong mentorship and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across the primary age range.
• Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Support pupils individually and in small groups to enhance their learning experience.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and classroom activities.

Required profile

• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted).
• Relevant TA training or qualifications (desirable).
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional child‑related references.
