Teaching Assistant – Primary, Secondary & SEN (Lancaster)

About the role
Reed Education, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, is seeking qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary, secondary and SEN settings in the Lancaster area. You will work on‑site in schools, providing classroom assistance and helping children achieve their learning goals.
Key responsibilities
- Provide whole‑class, small‑group and one‑to‑one support in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management and differentiated instruction.
- Support pupils with special educational needs, adapting activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and attend required training.
Required profile
- Qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 or HLTA).
- Recent experience in primary, secondary or SEN schools.
- Excellent communication, spelling and grammar.
- Commitment to professional development and safeguarding.
- Ability to travel locally and work at least two days per week.
