Teaching Assistant – Psychology Student (Bath)

About the role
Hanson Recruitment is seeking psychology students or recent graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in schools across Bath. The position is temporary, full‑time during term‑time, offering flexible days that can be adjusted around your studies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support to individual pupils and assist the whole class.
- Help pupils progress academically and develop socially‑emotional skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain an inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with behaviour management and follow safeguarding, health and safety policies.
Required profile
- Experience working with children (e.g., sports, volunteering).
- Currently studying for or holding a Psychology degree or equivalent.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Availability to work 08:30‑15:30 on weekdays during term‑time.
