Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Full‑Time)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a high‑performing secondary school in East London. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term, full‑time placement within a supportive inclusion team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom and small‑group support for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assist pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both academically and pastorally.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and the wider inclusion team to maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
- Help students stay engaged, make progress, and build positive relationships with staff.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
- Experience supporting students with SEND, preferably in a secondary school.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and a reliable, positive attitude.
- Full‑time availability and willingness to commit long‑term.
