Team Lead Litigation Solicitor – Landlord & Tenant

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to lead its Landlord & Tenant Litigation department in Uckfield. This senior position combines fee‑earning work with management of a busy team, supporting the firm’s growth in a client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor fee earners and paralegals, allocating workloads and monitoring performance.
• Oversee the full litigation lifecycle from claim inception to eviction, including standard and accelerated possession claims.
• Handle client liaison, court interactions, counsel instructions and third‑party communications.
• Develop and implement departmental processes, improve time‑recording systems and manage annual leave schedules.
• Prepare legal documentation, issue possession claims, and maintain case management records.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE or a CILEx Lawyer ready for a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant litigation and the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people, prioritize work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Proficiency with case‑management software and IT tools used in litigation.
