Team Leader – Retail Store

About the role

As a Team Leader at Moss, you will act as a brand ambassador and the main point of contact for customers in our Wembley store. You will combine strong product knowledge with a passion for service to guide shoppers through hiring, custom‑made, retail and alteration options, while supporting store performance in the absence of management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and empower store colleagues to place the customer at the centre of every interaction.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by following Moss’ Essential Steps of Service, actively listening and offering bespoke styling advice.
• Drive high productivity and sales targets, encouraging the team to maximise every sales and service opportunity.
• Maintain deep product knowledge across Hire, Custom Made, Retail, Alterations and Ship‑from‑Store services and apply it to tailor each customer journey.
• Support store management by training colleagues, using business tools and fostering peer trust.
• Analyse sales and customer data to inform decisions that enhance collective success and customer satisfaction.

• Confident communicator who can interact easily with a diverse range of customers.
• Hard‑working, dedicated and able to quickly identify customer needs.
• Leadership mindset with experience supervising a retail team.
• Commitment to exceed customer expectations and contribute to store KPI achievement.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt quickly and support management in their absence.
