About the role
The Reach Out Domestic Abuse Service is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to lead its multidisciplinary team, including the Open Up Behaviour Change team. This permanent, full‑time position is based at Lynton House and plays a pivotal role in supporting families affected by domestic abuse across Redbridge.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for the Reach Out team, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
- Coordinate with children’s and adult social care departments to act as the front‑door service for individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse.
- Drive continuous improvement using the Safe and Together practice model.
- Identify and solve service challenges, enhancing outcomes for adult and child survivors.
- Support the Families First for Children pathfinders programme and contribute to strategic development.
Required profile
- Passion for social work and improving lives of families affected by domestic abuse.
- Strong understanding of the Safe and Together practice model.
- Experience managing teams within social care or related sectors.
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equality in the workplace.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
