Tech Lead – Power Platform

About the role

You will lead the design, development and delivery of high‑quality Power Platform solutions for a local council. Working closely with business stakeholders and the development team, you will drive adoption of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and related technologies to improve public services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into Power Platform solutions.
• Design, build, test and maintain Power Apps (model‑driven and canvas), Power Automate flows, Power BI dashboards and portals.
• Manage Power Platform environments, licensing, capacity and backup policies.
• Lead migration of legacy applications to Power Platform.
• Produce technical documentation and user guides.
• Support UAT, capture defects and drive remediation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices for performance, security and scalability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience across the full lifecycle of Microsoft Power Platform projects.
• Strong architectural and application design skills.
• Proven ability to work in matrix teams with product managers, designers and architects.
• Excellent business analysis capability to engage with diverse council stakeholders.
