About the role
As Technical & Complex Repairs Manager you will lead the management of housing condition claims, alternative dispute resolution and the in‑house stock condition survey programme for Riverside, ensuring efficient repairs, regulatory compliance and reduced financial liability.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all housing condition claims and ADR processes to restore customer trust and limit financial exposure.
- Manage the in‑house stock condition survey programme to support investment decisions and business planning.
- Support the Head of Performance & Improvement in developing housing condition compliance strategies.
- Provide a centre of excellence for technical building enquiries, case management and regulatory compliance.
- Lead complex and technical repair activities, including Local Authority Enforcement actions and Category 1 Health & Safety risk management.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and best‑practice initiatives to build team capability.
- Communicate progress and changes to customers and colleagues, mitigating incident impact and regulatory escalation.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading and motivating multiple teams in a multi‑site environment.
- Track record of policy and service development, contract and project management.
- Commercially aware with a focus on continuous improvement and change management.
- Strong understanding of business, sector and property safety risks.
- Ability to deliver programmes of work and manage service and maintenance contracts.
Required skills
- Experience in managing housing condition compliance and complex repairs.
- Knowledge of Local Authority Enforcement and Category 1 Health & Safety risk frameworks.
- Contract management and project management methodologies.
What we offer
- Permanent contract with a starting salary of £58,238.15, rising to £64,198.01 after 12 months of successful performance.
- Full‑time 35‑hour week, Monday‑Friday onsite in Speke, Liverpool.
