Technical Consultant – Financial Planning (Remote)

About the role

This remote Technical Consultant role supports financial planners with complex pension, investment and tax‑mitigation queries. You will become the go‑to expert, helping advisers translate technical details into clear client solutions while advancing your own expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to financial planners on pensions, investments and tax mitigation.
• Interpret client cases and develop clear, compliant solutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all technical queries within the planning team.
• Challenge senior advisers when necessary to ensure best practice.

Required profile

• Level 4 qualification in financial planning or related field.
• Experience as a paraplanner, financial planner, technical/help‑desk specialist or quality‑assurance professional.
• Ability to advise and, when appropriate, challenge senior advisers.
