Technical Data Fuel & Landing Gear Systems Internship (12.5 months)

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement is with Airbus Technical Data in Filton, supporting the Fuel & Landing Gear Systems team. You will work on maintenance manuals and data for aircraft in service, collaborating with colleagues across Europe and India.

Key responsibilities

• Identify in‑service issues and define prioritisation for solutions.
• Perform feasibility analysis, risk assessment and configuration management.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and capture knowledge for future use.
• Contribute to quality, problem‑solving and the development of new integrated tools.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in aerospace technical data.
• Willingness to learn technical, project‑management and communication skills.
• Proactive, dynamic and able to work well in a team.

• Programming/scripting (basic awareness of programming languages).
