Technical Lead - Regulatory Reporting (Qlik/SQL/MiFID)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Lead to redesign and rebuild MiFID Transaction Reporting within a Capital Markets environment. The role will translate complex regulatory logic into scalable Qlik‑based reporting solutions while ensuring compliance with global architecture standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end reengineering of MiFID Transaction Reporting systems.
• Analyse and rewrite existing stored‑procedure logic into Qlik reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business, compliance and technology teams to align architecture with regulatory requirements.
• Design, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures and data models supporting regulatory reporting.
• Act as the L3 escalation point for EMEA regulatory reporting issues and production support.
• Translate regulatory changes into technical specifications and system enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices across development and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience with reporting tools such as Qlik, SmartBI or Crystal Reports.
• Deep expertise in SQL, stored procedures and data modelling.
• Experience handling large data sets and complex reporting logic in Capital Markets.
• Familiarity with post‑trade workflows and regulatory reporting frameworks, especially MiFID.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
