Technical Product Manager (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead a 12‑month contract delivering a cloud‑based occupancy data platform hosted on AWS. Working in a hybrid setting in Central London, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure the product meets strategic goals and drives data‑informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine the product backlog, aligning priorities with business objectives and delivery capacity.
• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap and strategic priorities.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise work based on value, risk, dependencies and technical considerations.
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions and decision‑making forums between business and technical teams.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, data specialists and delivery managers throughout sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Monitor and manage delivery risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints.
• Prepare and present delivery reports, roadmap updates and stakeholder briefings.

Required profile

• Active SC Clearance.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Technical Product Owner on complex cloud, digital or data‑driven programmes.
• Strong track record of defining epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including architects, software engineers, platform engineers and data specialists.
• Degree‑educated or equivalent professional experience.
