Technical Professional – Pipeline and Process Services

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Professional to join Halliburton’s Pipeline and Process Services (PPS) team in Aberdeen. The role involves providing job design, post‑job analysis and acting as a liaison between customers and the Solutions Team, supporting innovative engineering solutions for the global energy industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design jobs and conduct post‑job analysis for clients under general supervision.
• Apply basic engineering principles to assignments within the Product Service Line.
• Work independently on site while providing direction to junior staff.
• Serve as the communication link between customers and the Solutions Team.
• Consult with Product Service Lines regarding equipment needs and specifications.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Pipeline and Process Services, including operations and business development.
• Demonstrated technical competence in the Product Service Line.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic engineering principles.
• Ability to perform job design and post‑job analysis.
• Effective communication with customers and internal teams.
