Technical Programme Manager (Interim)

About the role

An interim Technical Programme Manager is required to ensure the smooth delivery of complex technology projects for a client in the Technology & Telecoms sector. You will coordinate multiple work streams, align cross‑functional teams, and drive project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and track progress across several work streams to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align on goals and requirements.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
• Allocate resources efficiently to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to promote collaboration.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure spending aligns with financial plans.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering technical programmes.
• Strong expertise in process mapping and customer journey mapping.
• Proven ability to reduce cost‑to‑serve and contact volumes.
• Excellent analytical capability with confidence in analysing operational data.
• Experience managing technical projects within the Technology & Telecoms sector.
• Demonstrated skill in coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools and methodologies.

• Daily rate outside IR35 (DOE).
• Hybrid work mode – three days onsite in Somerset.
• Initial three‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
