Technical Sales Engineer – Laser Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a global leader in laser technology. You will combine technical expertise with consultative selling to grow new business and support existing customers across the UK and Ireland, while receiving industry‑leading training and progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Sell specialist laser systems and other capital equipment to new and existing customers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through quotation, demonstration, negotiation and order placement.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers in manufacturing and engineering sectors.
• Collaborate closely with service and applications teams to ensure excellent customer support.
• Visit customer sites across the UK and Ireland, including occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technical equipment such as lasers, CNC machinery, industrial machinery or automation solutions.
• Strong electronic or engineering background.
• Willingness to commute to the Bracknell site.

What we offer

• Base salary £40,000‑£45,000 per year plus OTE up to £87,000.
