Technical Sales Manager – Insulation & HVAC Solutions

About the role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager with strong knowledge of insulation products and HVAC or building services. You will lead the development of distributor and merchant channels for a multi‑million‑dollar insulation manufacturer across the UK, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales through national, regional and independent distributors.
• Maintain and strengthen distributor and merchant relationships.
• Deliver product training, technical support and sales enablement.
• Collaborate with partners on pricing, margins, promotions and stock profiles.
• Drive product awareness and generate pull‑through demand.
• Promote the wider group portfolio, including HVAC and marine products.
• Monitor market feedback, competitor activity and provide forecasting and sales reporting.
• Build and maintain a network of contacts at all organisational levels.

Required profile

• Proven track record of success selling within insulation, HVAC or building services markets.
• Experience managing distributors and merchants across the UK.
• Strong account‑management and territory‑management skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented with a positive outlook.
