Technical SEO Manager

About the role

The Technical SEO Manager joins House Digital’s SEO team to lead technical optimisation across a portfolio of client sites. Working closely with the Senior Technical SEO Manager and SEO Account Managers, you will translate technical strategy into measurable performance improvements that align with commercial KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical SEO strategies for client accounts, prioritising commercial goals.
• Perform core technical SEO work such as audits, health checks, migration support and site performance diagnostics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to scope, prioritise and implement technical changes.
• Apply AI Search best practices to ensure visibility in both traditional and AI‑driven search experiences.
• Monitor crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, JavaScript rendering, international SEO and related metrics.
• Produce client reports linking technical activity to traffic, visibility and conversion outcomes.
• Analyse server logs, crawl data and analytics dashboards to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Stay current on algorithm updates, SEO trends, AI Search developments and SERP innovations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical SEO improvements for multiple client accounts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with account managers, developers and clients.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.

What we offer

• Salary range £34,000‑£38,000 per annum
