Technical Support Analyst – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join a dynamic technology services team supporting multiple business units within a well‑established UK organisation. The role focuses on device management, IT asset administration and end‑user support, ensuring smooth delivery of technical services and continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including stock control, audits, reporting and compliance.
• Provision, configure and support corporate devices for new starters, movers and leavers.
• Assist with software licence allocation and management.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Act as an escalation point to ensure timely resolution of support requests.
• Produce and maintain asset and service reports.
• Contribute to technology projects, service improvement initiatives and IT governance adoption.

Required profile

• Experience in IT asset management and lifecycle processes.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune for device management and deployment.
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration and user account management.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, mobile devices and networking fundamentals.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
