About the role

Progress Rail is seeking a full‑time Technical Support Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will provide expert technical assistance for locomotive and rail equipment, ensuring customers receive prompt and effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems on locomotives and related systems.
• Deliver timely solutions and recommendations to customers.
• Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the support process.
• Document issues, actions taken, and outcomes for continuous knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Customer‑focused mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant engineering degree or comparable technical education preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with SD70 locomotives.
