Technology Risk & Controls Lead

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is building a new Technology Risk & Controls team in London following the launch of Chase UK. The role focuses on defining, maintaining and overseeing the technology risk and control environment for a range of products and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage risk and controls for a subset of the control suite, with emphasis on Vulnerability Management, SDLC, Technology Operations and Incident & Event Management.
• Define and maintain the technology risk and control environment for the line of business.
• Assess the effectiveness of technology controls against internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support and coordinate responses to 2LOD, audit, regulator and customer requests for control information.
• Analyze and report on compliance of cyber and technology controls across lines of business, firm‑wide and regulatory standards.
• Lead risk and control activities for an aligned portfolio of products and applications within the Risk Advisory & Oversight function.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure effective oversight of the technical control environment.
• Validate that business Key Risk Indicators are accurately captured and reflected in prioritisation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in technology risk, controls or related cybersecurity functions.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of fintech environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively in product‑focused squads and adapt to different project needs.
