Temporary Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Flexible Shifts in Harlow

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to provide high‑quality personal care across a variety of settings in Hertfordshire, Essex and London. The role offers flexible temporary assignments – full‑time, part‑time, day, night or weekend – to match your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to patients, including washing, dressing and mobility assistance.
• Monitor and record observations as required and follow care plans.
• Assist nursing and clinical teams with routine patient care tasks.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding, infection‑control and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Assistant.
• Caring, professional and patient‑focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (assistance available if needed).
• Mandatory and statutory training (support provided for renewals).
