Temporary HR Administrator – Hybrid – £15/hr

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Temporary HR Administrator to join our friendly team in Bracknell for an initial three‑month period, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Reporting to the Head of HR Services, you will support the wider HR function and ensure smooth day‑to‑day administration.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding new hires and transfers, including preparing employment contracts.
• Coordinate background checks and, where applicable, drug screening processes.
• Collect and verify tax and other employee documentation in line with legal requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system.
• Manage personnel files and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Provide first‑line HR support to employees and managers, directing queries to the appropriate resource.
• Liaise with third‑party benefits providers for renewals and related administration.
• Process monthly vendor billings, verify accuracy, and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within HR.
• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR information systems or similar database tools.
• Familiarity with employment documentation and compliance processes.
