About the role
Angard Staffing is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as temporary Mail & Parcel Sorters with Royal Mail in Stoke‑on‑Trent. The role is essential to keep the country moving during the busy Christmas season and offers a fast‑paced, high‑energy warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities
- Unload incoming mail and parcels and prepare them for processing.
- Sort items by postcode, moving them efficiently through the warehouse.
- Maintain high productivity to meet tight deadlines, with some teams handling over a million items in a single shift.
Required profile
- Enjoys working in a fast‑paced setting.
- Capable of lifting mail bags up to 11 kg, parcels up to 30 kg, and pushing trolleys/yorks up to 250 kg.
- Comfortable standing and walking for long periods.
- Reliable, flexible and attentive to detail.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
- Willing to switch between tasks and work flexible shift patterns during the Christmas period.
