Temporary Trademark Paralegal

About the role

A top US law firm is seeking a Temporary Trademark Paralegal for an ongoing temporary assignment. The role offers hybrid working with 2‑3 days on site and up to two days remote, operating between 09:30 and 18:00.

Key responsibilities

• Review Watch Notices, flag concerns and report to clients.
• Manage trademark and design deadlines, moving and clearing completed items.
• Update dockets, add diary entries and set monthly/fortnightly reminders.
• Respond to docket updates and outcomes.
• Liaise with clients on deadlines, obtain instructions, and handle POA and notary matters.
• Coordinate with foreign agents for fee quotes, deadlines and required documents.
• Prepare filing sheets, fee quotes and class specifications for trademarks and designs.
• Arrange searches via SAEGIS or Corsearch and report results.
• Provide clients with trademark schedules and IP trackers, delivering monthly updates.
• Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals, recordals and related documents.

Required profile

• Available immediately or on very short notice.
• Proven experience within a trademark team at a recognised law firm.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
