Test and Repair Technician – Electronics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Test and Repair Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will ensure electronic and electromechanical products meet the highest quality standards before they reach customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bench and functional testing of electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Diagnose faults using circuit diagrams, schematics and test procedures.
• Carry out component‑level fault finding, soldering, de‑soldering and rework.
• Inspect products and assemblies for compliance with quality standards.
• Complete testing documentation, repair reports and quality records.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing and final product sign‑off.
• Identify recurring issues and feed back to production and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in electronics testing, repair or manufacturing.
• Confident reading and interpreting circuit diagrams and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
