Test Automation Lead (SDET) – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Automation Test Analyst (SDET) to join a growing, tech‑led team within financial services. The role focuses on building and embedding automated testing across a modern engineering environment while working closely with product and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy across multiple products, improving and extending existing automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for API, UI and backend services in an Azure cloud setup.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices.
• Collaborate daily with engineers to influence quality standards and ensure robust test coverage.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SDET or QA automation professional in a financial services or insurance context.
• Hands‑on ability to design, build and evolve automation frameworks, not just maintain them.
• Strong communication skills to work closely with product and development teams.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• Selenium for UI automation.
• SpecFlow for behaviour‑driven testing.
• Azure cloud environment.
