Theatre Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner – Private Hospital Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking experienced Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners to join a leading private hospital in Glasgow. The role offers full‑time, permanent positions across a range of theatre areas including Scrub, Anaesthetics, Recovery and SFA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care throughout orthopaedic surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team in scrub, anaesthetic and recovery phases.
• Maintain sterile environments and ensure compliance with infection‑control standards.
• Support patients before, during and after surgery, including SFA (Short‑Form Anaesthesia) procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient theatre services.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with HCPC registration.
• Proven orthopaedic theatre experience is essential.
• Full registration and the right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centred care in a private‑hospital setting.
