TIG & MIG Welder – Oxford

About the role

Our client, a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke pressure vessels and fabricated equipment for nuclear, energy, oil & gas and industrial sectors, is expanding rapidly. They are seeking experienced TIG and MIG welders to join their Oxford production team, working on safety‑critical engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Maintain and update personal welding qualifications and certifications.
• Assist with fabrication tasks such as grinding, forming and material preparation.
• Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
• Collaborate closely with a skilled production crew to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding, preferably in a regulated industrial environment.
• Familiarity with welding codes and certifications (current or expired).
• Strong attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
