Title Checker – Residential Conveyancing (Remote/Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a leading law firm in Merseyside, is looking for an experienced Title Checker to join its busy Residential Conveyancing department. The role offers the flexibility of fully remote or hybrid working while providing exposure to a high‑volume property transaction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough title checks on a variety of residential property transactions.
• Prepare and draft contracts accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, borrowers, buyers’ solicitors and internal teams to progress matters smoothly.
• Manage post‑completion tasks, ensuring all requirements are met and files are finalised correctly.
• Produce title reports, client reports and support settlement of transactions.
• Handle all pre‑exchange and post‑exchange matters, meeting deadlines and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing and title checking.
• Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Confident communication skills for interacting with a range of stakeholders.
